With this project, I was able to ask my most far-fetched questions about the very concept of an apology while also helping guide the structure of the series. Alongside an incredible team, we made an audio and video series that gave immigrants of color an opportunity to tell their stories on their terms. As a Brazilian-American who is somehow still confused if I “qualify” as an immigrant, this project and the feedback we’ve received on it has been truly special.
